Before installation, carefully inspect the mating surfaces of the shaft and bearing housing, the end faces of the shoulders, the grooves, and the machining quality of the connecting surfaces. All mating connecting surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and deburred, and sand must be removed from the unmachined surfaces of castings.

Oil-free bearings should be cleaned with gasoline or kerosene before installation, dried thoroughly, and ensured to be well-lubricated. Oil-free bearings are typically lubricated with grease but can also be lubricated with oil. When using grease lubrication, select grease with excellent properties such as impurity-free composition and rust prevention. The grease filling volume should be 30%-60% of the oil-free bearing and housing volume, and should not be excessive. Double-row tapered roller oil-free bearings with sealed structures, as well as oil-free bearings connected to pump shafts, are pre-filled with grease. Users can install them directly without cleaning.
